April 3, 2012 SOUNDS ⁄  A Place to Bury Strangers

A Place to Bury Strangers

‘New York’s loudest band’, Brooklynite shoegazers, A Place to Bury Strangers, have announced a new album on Dead Oceans records. Worship is scheduled for a high summer release  and the news comes a mere month after their return to inflicting ear bleeds with the Onwards to the Wall EP. They were also kind enough to give us the auditory equivalent of a nipple-slip by streaming one-eleventh of the album, second track – You Are The One.

The band claim that every single sound on the album is brand new, having been tailormade by them on snazzy customised equipment. It’s an audiophile’s wet dream; so if you plan to hit their 32-gig European tour this month, bring a change of pants… along with a hundred spares to sell to splurging gig-goers.
